Workshop on How to Address Mental Health as Part of a Healthy Workplace

 

December 14, 2016 – Hamilton, ON – Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS)

To help workplaces implement mental health as part of a comprehensive healthy workplace program, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) will be hosting Creating Your Healthy Workplace, a one-day practical workshop on January 31, 2017.

Creating Your Healthy Workplace is intended to help workplaces move from awareness to action by providing mental health workplace champions and leaders with the framework, tools, and resources needed to develop and implement a comprehensive program that includes mental health as part of a healthy workplace.

Through the workshop, participants will be provided with information on how to establish an action plan for a mentally healthy workplace, how to develop a program with sound procedures, and how to address all types of psychosocial hazards to help build a comprehensive healthy workplace program for effective results.

The workshop will take place on January 31, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST, at the Centre for Health and Safety Innovation in Mississauga, Ontario.
